May I commission a bespoke or custom-designed creation?
Yes; every custom commission is individually designed to your individual style and preference. We believe that variety lends the sweet, spice, and overall verve to life. We invite you to use our C&C Custom Cake Form to begin curating your vision.
To ensure the uncompromising quality of our work, we use our Signature Flavor Profiles for all bespoke orders. Should your vision require an entirely new flavor, an exclusive R&D email consultation (ranging from $50 - $130) will be added to your commission to cover the meticulous sourcing, testing, and development your unique request.
Our single-tier 6” cakes begin at $250, and our single-tier 8” cakes begin at $325. Requests for custom flavors involved a specialized $130 research and development allocation.

Which Chipper & Cheeky selections are gluten-free or vegan? Are your creations entirely safe for individuals with Celiac Disease?
Yes. Our atelier only uses certified gluten-free ingredients.
In the spirit of our mission for long-awaited dessert exclusivity, nearly our entire collection— including our croissants, tarts, cakes, cookies, and entremets—is specially crafted to be gluten-free, with gluten-free + vegan accommodations, to create a more inclusive dessert experience that everyone at your special occasion can enjoy.
Our atelier has incorporated the highest We have made sure to include luxurious desserts that are both vegan and gluten-free, and we can also accommodate nut allergies, as well as the most common allergies, across nearly all of our dessert offerings.
When placing your order, nearly all of our signature cakes, croissants, cookies, African pastries, tarts, specialty items, and entremets can be made both gluten-free and vegan.
Please note: Our menu evolves with the California seasons; our intentional, natural shift in our menu ensures only the freshest ingredients grace your table. How should I store my treats, and how long will they last?
Because we refuse to use artificial preservatives, our pastries are best enjoyed at the peak of their freshness.
For our cakes, tarts, and entremets, we recommend refrigerating them until 1-2 hours before service to ensure the textures are perfect. We also provide a general storage guide in our cookie packages for Statewide Delivery, local pickups, and exclusive deliveries.

Gluten-Free Cookies - Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
Gluten-Free Croissants - Are best enjoyed the same day of delivery. To revive that signature crunch and that buttery, flaky texture, a quick warm-up in the oven or air fryer is recommended.
African pastries - Keep refrigerated and enjoy within 3 days.
Gluten-Free Cakes - Leave in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Gluten-Free Entremets - Keep refrigerated immediately after delivery or pick-up, and enjoy within 2 days.

How do you manage gluten-free integrity and prevent cross-contamination?
Chipper & Cheeky, a gluten-free bakery that only uses gluten-free certified ingredients, was born from a deeply personal mission: to create an inclusive dessert experience that those with or without gluten-free sensitivities can all enjoy—together.
Our co-owner lives with Celiac disease, and our founder has a gluten sensitivity, so we understand the gravity of gluten-free safety. While we operate out of a kitchen that handles various ingredients, we go above and beyond to ensure that all our desserts are entirely gluten-free. Our team implements rigorous sanitation and separation protocols to protect our gluten-sensitive and Celiac guests.
We only use certified gluten-free ingredients in our facility. Your health is our priority—if you have any specific concerns, we welcome a direct conversation.
I have a specific allergy. Which products are safe for me?

While we do not offer a standard line of %100 sugar-free items, we specialize in bespoke desserts and custom orders. We can easily reduce sugar levels in most of our recipes to suit your palate.

Not at all. As our motto states, we’re creating inclusive dessert experiences for all guests at your L.A. party or with your loved ones visiting your home for a graduation celebration. While we are passionate about being gluten-free and allergy-friendly, our goal is simply to make the best-tasting desserts in Los Angeles. As a bespoke atelier, Chipper & Cheeky thrives on collaboration. Bespoke design is at the heart of what we do. Logistics & Delivery Parameters
What are Chipper & Cheeky’s delivery and pickup options within Southern California?
Chipper & Cheeky provides fully managed, temperature-controlled delivery throughout Los Angeles County for all commissions exceeding $600. We also offer white-glove service for wedding cake tastings, for an additional fee.
For orders below this minimum, private scheduled collection from our studio is available at our Santa Clarita Valley pickup location.
Please note: We also offer Statewide Delivery shipping in California for select cookie collections.
How are delicate pastries safely transported within Southern California?
Our bakery offers the following to the SoCal area: 1) local pickups in Santa Clarita Valley, CA, and 2) white-glove service deliveries up to a 30-mile radius from our dedicated kitchen space based in the Santa Clarita Valley.
For local pickups: Transporting our delicate creations on SoCal’s winding freeways, especially in the heat, requires care. We recommend the following:
Climate control: Run your AC on high for 10 minutes before loading your dessert
Flat Surface Only: Never place a cake on a car seat, as the incline can cause your dessert to shift. The floor in front of the passenger seat or a flat trunk area is best.
Drive with Grace: Avoid sudden stops or sharp turns to keep the internal structure intact.
Keep It Cool: For longer drives, consider placing the box inside a cooler with ice packs (not loose ice) to maintain a firm temperature.
For deliveries:
We also provide white-glove handling instructions for all orders. For delicate desserts such as our Violet Tart, we recommend our temperature-controlled delivery service throughout Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, and Greater Los Angeles to preserve the structural integrity and aesthetic of our signature petal work.

We use professional commercial kitchen spaces to craft our artisanal collections under California’s premium cottage standards.
How far in advance must I place my order?
Chipper & Cheeky maintains small-batch standards to ensure the freshness of our locally harvested ingredients.
To ensure the utmost quality, we require the following lead times:
- Regular Orders (from our signature collections): a minimum of 1-2 weeks’ notice.
- Custom Cookie Designs: A minimum of 2-4 weeks (for orders of 6 dozen or less)
- Custom Cake Designs: A minimum of 2 - 4 weeks, though we recommend booking earlier as our calendar fills quickly
- Weddings: A minimum of 2-7 months’ notice to allow for consultations and detailed planning.
