
Hello, Cheeky Fam! We've been tinkering away behind the scenes, coming up with delicious new flavors and gluten-free desserts. And, after yummy rounds of tests, we're thrilled to announce that we're now offering gluten-free almond croissants!
In Chipper & Cheeky's first year in 2018, we tried countless times to create a laminated pastry that could be gluten-free (and vegan). However, all the testing and recipe development led to less-than-stellar results, and we had to shelve the idea and opt for a vegan-only croissant option.
While our founder and then sole proprietor was disappointed in the setback, she knew that one day it would become possible for Chipper & Cheeky to create a scrumptious gluten-free laminated dough and further reduce any cross-contamination concerns.
This day has finally come. This development is a significant step for our gluten-free bakery, as it demonstrates that gluten-free baking is continually expanding and improving. What we could only dream of making is now becoming a tangible, scrumptious reality!
